Automotive Hungary B2B Forum Connects Hungarian Suppliers with International Investors

2026. 05. 21.

Over 260 business meetings brought together Hungarian automotive suppliers and international manufacturers operating in Hungary at the Automotive Hungary Supplier Forum in Budapest.

The B2B forum connected representatives of 76 Hungarian companies with procurement specialists from 18 major automotive corporations, including Audi, BYD and Suzuki.

The event was jointly organized by the HIPA Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency, the Association of the Hungarian Automotive Industry (MAGE) and the Association of Hungarian Automotive Suppliers (MAJOSZ).

The forum is a key component of HIPA’s supplier development initiatives. These efforts aim to integrate Hungarian suppliers with the required capabilities into the supply chains of international investors. Several participating companies are also involved in HIPA’s supplier development programme, launched in connection with Hungary’s investment incentive scheme, which encourages investors to engage local suppliers from the early stages of their projects.

In addition to facilitating B2B meetings, HIPA showcased the capabilities of eight Hungarian companies at its exhibition stand during the 14th edition of Automotive Hungary, one of the country’s leading sectoral trade fairs, providing them with an opportunity to present their products and expertise to an international professional audience.

HIPA was established in 2014 as a national investment promotion organisation. The agency’s most important task is to provide professional assistance to foreign and Hungarian companies wishing to invest in Hungary. Between 1 January 2014 and 31 December 2025, HIPA guided 2,305 projects with a value of more than 66 billion euros to create close to 187,000 new jobs.
